N. and I decided to go for a walk today to explore the city, enjoy the nice weather, and to give S. some quiet study time at home. We headed down south a little bit to the area around city hall. There were court houses, and various other government buildings. I really enjoyed all the architecture of the buildings--they really are amazing to see--my pictures don't do it justice, but I've posted some of the buildings we saw below...
On our way, we saw this ornate fire station...

The New York County Supreme Court Building..

United States Court House...

NYC Municipal Building...

Woolworth Building...

N. enjoying his water and the sites...

On the way home, we walked through Chinatown. All of the street signs were in Chinese and English.

We also passed through Little Italy where I saw this store--named just for me!
You live right in the middle of everything...lucky girl.....When we visited, we were thrilled to see the courthouses because we're big Law and Order fans and they film out in front of those buildings all the time. Fun stuff! I'm really enjoying reading and seeing your life in NYC. Keep it up!
