N.

N. is my life. He keeps me busy and always makes me smile. It seems like he is constantly doing new things these days. He is so sweet and really for the most part happy and easy to please. Here's some random things about him...

He understands so much lately. If he's grumpy, and it's nap time, I'll ask him if he's ready for his nap. Without fail, he will get up and walk to his crib--I'm going to enjoy this while I can:). When we say it's time for prayers, he immediately folds his arms. After his bath tonight, he picked up his comb and tried to brush his hair. Whenever he wants a snack, he reaches for the top of the fridge where the cereals and fishie crackers are, until I come in there and get them. If I say it's time for a bath, he walks to the bathroom...As you can see, he really is understanding so much...

He loves going anywhere. If you say, we're going to go wherever, he stops whatever he was doing, brings me his shoes, and waits by the door for me. He loves riding in his stroller around town. He is almost always sitting up on the edge of his seat, talking and waving to people as they go by. It's so precious, and he's constantly getting compliments and people saying hi back. S. and I have joked that he's showing New Yorkers a little bit of Texas friendliness(although I will say, most everyone here has been extremely nice and not the stereotypical New Yorker that you often think of).
Here's him getting ready to go to the grocery store this morning...

Lately, he likes to play on the bed and wrestle with daddy. Well, today, I was doing something on the computer and S. was in the shower, and then I hear this little giggle. I turn around, and there N. was laying back on one of the pillows on the bed. He had somehow climbed up there all by himself. I was kind of in shock, but then I started laughing, which made him laugh back. He was so proud of himself, and I'm thankful that the bed is only about 2 feet off the ground.
Here's him watching conference with us. He was spellbound whenever the choir sung, and would often bop his head up and down to the music. At one point, he even started directing the music, so sweet...
Play-wise N. especially enjoys building blocks and pushing around anything with wheels. Although, his favorite toys lately are not really toys--he loves getting into our stuff. He is constantly dragging around my purse, takes everything out, and then plays with my wallet and my phone. He also likes to open any drawer he's not supposed too. This morning he stacked and played with the tuna cans from the store, and when I was cooking dinner tonight, I opened the silverware drawer, and found his pacifier in it! He's a curious little guy.
