Krystle, the wife of a guy S. goes to school with(and we go to church with), invited me and N. to check out the Columbus Day parade. In NYC, it's also a big celebration of the Italian community, so most everything in the parade had to do with Italians and their influences in America. There were folk dancers, bands, and various floats. We enjoyed it. One float was passing out free t-shirts. They stopped passing them out when they got to us, but Krystle pointed to N., and someone ran over and handed one to him! It's a little big for him(only an adult L.), but oh well--it was fun, and N. enjoyed all the music and clapping!
