A friend from church, Tally, got tickets to the Martha Stewart Show. On the application, it asked if she was part of a group, so she made up a name and called us the Husband-less Wives Club--wives whose husbands work insane hours or are still in school! I thought it was pretty clever, and apparently the Martha Show thought so too--they offered her as many tickets as she wanted, gave us front row seats, and called us by the name when we got there. They also said anytime we want to come back, we're welcome too!
I have to admit I've watched the show only a handful of times, but it was so much fun to see it in person. I've never been to a taping of anything before, so it was interesting to see all the behind the scenes work that was going on. This show featured chef Eric Ripert, "felting" a baby blanket, info about the sweetener truvia, and a designer talking about his apartment and various tips. It airs tomorrow--so maybe you might see me on TV!
