Fashion's Night Out

To kick off Fashion Week in NYC, the city hosted Fashion's Night Out. All the stores were having crazy parties and showcasing their latest fashions. Some of the highlights included: Free manicures at Chanel with their latest color-jade, hors d'oeuvres at Prada, live mannequins at Penguin (kinda creepy), free vodka at Reiss(I opted out and got a FIJI water instead), mannequin painting at Intermix, and oh yeah...celebrity sightings. We were standing outside of J.Crew and were told Sienna Miller and Erin from MTV's the City were across the street, so we headed over for a closer look. As we were standing in the street, a black SUV pulls up, 2 big guys with earpieces get out and scope the area. 5 minutes later, someone gets out, and it's Rihanna--she pulled on a black hood and put on sunglasses as she got out, walked up to the store, then turned around and gave the crowd a smile. Paparazzi were everywhere. About 10 minutes later, we saw the repeat of this, as the black SUV pulls up again to pick Rihanna back up. It was a little surreal, but I enjoyed a night on the town with some new good friends!
