Coney Island

We jumped on the Subway and rode to Coney Island(the last stop) with another couple Friday afternoon. First, we went to the NY Aquarium and saw some cool fish--N. enjoyed it, plus it was free from 3-5 on Fridays. Then we walked along the boardwalk. It was so refreshing to see open sea and islands with nothing on them. N. walked in the sand for a while, and didn't want to stop. He would "not bend" to sit back in his stroller, and whined until I distracted him with a peanut butter sandwich. Then we stopped by Nathan's Famous Hot Dogs for dinner--the highlight and main reason for the trip! We enjoyed delicious hot dogs, cheese fries, and homemade lemonade! After dinner, we made a quick stop for sweets at William's Candy. I got one of their famous candy apples covered in sprinkles, and our friends got cotton candy. Then we jumped back on the subway and headed back for home! Fun, fun, fun!!!
