The Brooklyn Bridge

Our playgroup from church met on Thursday for an outing to the Brooklyn Bridge. I took the subway by myself for the first time, and it went pretty good. We then met the other moms and kids and walked across the Brooklyn Bridge into Brooklyn. The views of Manhattan were amazing--it's the New York City that I'd seen growing up in pictures and visualized in my head before moving here. I loved it, and it was a beautiful day. The weather was great--only in the 70s. I wish I would have taken more pictures that really captured the beauty, but I'll have to go back and take S. next time. We then went into Brooklyn, ate a picnic lunch, played at the park, and got some yummy chocolate chip cookie ice cream! N. had a lot of fun and so did I!

    That sounds like fun! I'm glad you have a group from church to do playgroups with thats cool ( : I'm so glad that your getting to experience the NYC i remember you used to want to visit so much!!! I love you <3
