family, family, family

The best thing about Texas for me is having family close.  The past two weekends have been jam packed with family. 

Last weekend, S. took time off, and we drove down to the coast with my family and stayed on the beach for a few days.  My sister and her hubby were down from Idaho and my other sister and hubby and new baby live close to the coast so we all met up so we could see each other.  The last time we were all together was Christmas, and we don't know when we'll all be together again(my sister from Idaho is expecting a little boy over Christmas so she won't be down then).  It was so much fun to all be together.  N. enjoyed playing at the beach in the sand and water and of course playing with his best friend and aunt, McKenna.

This weekend was an "extended" family reunion on S.'s side of the family down in Glen Rose.  N. had a blast playing with all the other kids, going on his first hayride, and being with his Oma and Opa.

I'm relying on both my mom and S's mom for pics, so I'll post pictures later.

While it was fun to have so much going on, I think I'm ready for a quiet day or two:)
