My little dinosaur...
We started the day off with our church carnival. N. enjoyed the games in his own way. For bowling, he carried the ball, while another boy kicked over the pins. He mini-golfed by just picking up the golf ball. He knocked over a pyramid of cups with his hands, went fishing for prizes, and his favorite was probably the bean bag toss, where he would put the bean bag in the monster's mouth. He also enjoyed the cake walk--where he got the cookie he's eating below. He kept trying to reach for other kids cookies, so we played and won! He thoroughly enjoyed the cookie and ate every last bite of it. He also had fun watching the other kids doing the cake walk. Another highlight for N. was playing with the toys in the church nursery.
I really tried to get some good pictures of him, but he kept running off(you can see his tail in the corner)...
That night, we went trick-or-treating in our building. They had specific doors tagged for trick-or-treaters and gave us a list of apartment #s. N. was not too crazy about it at first. He was a bit whiny and worn out from the church carnival, but after a few doors, he started enjoying picking out a treat and putting it in his bag. I think though the ultimate highlight for N. of the day was THE DOG! He's obsessed with dogs--that's the only word he really says, and he gets so excited when he sees them anywhere. Well, when we knocked on one of the doors, there was a dog. He looked past the candy and had eyes for only one thing. He kept saying dog over and over again. This dog was extremely well-trained and sat and laid down on command, and N. got to pet his paws. N. was so excited and happy, and for the rest of the night when we knocked on other doors, he would say dog when they first opened the door just hoping he would find another one! Here's our whiny dinosaur, that did cheer up later and had a good time...

ReplyDeleteSo me and Becca Johnson are sitting here in our class and got a little distracted, as usual. Well we saw the picture of his tail barely showing and I don't know why but we could not help but laugh! We tried to hide it because the teacher is up lecturing and don't want to draw attention to us lol thankfully we calmed down ( : I love you N is adorable!
