Just some things, N.'s been up to lately...
We've started going to baby story time at the library, and he loves it. He especially loves the song, "If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands." If you start singing it, he will immediately clap his hands.
We just put on a cabinet lock last week(this lock loops around the cabinet handles and then connects together), because N. was starting to pull out everything out of the recycle bin. Now, I call N. the enforcer police, because if I ever leave the cabinet lock unlocked, he is the 1st to let me know and tries to close it. He won't leave it alone until I close it, but luckily he never opens the cabinet anymore.
Whenever he is done eating, he pulls on his bib as hard as he can until it comes off, and then he hands it to me.
I decided to start teaching him a little bit of sign language. I started with "more," and by the next day, he was doing it on his own. Now, he does it all the time whenever he wants more snacks.
He's been quite the messy eater lately. If you give him a sandwich, he has to open it, eat the peanut butter off the bread, and then maybe he'll eat the bread. He does the same thing with quesadillas. It drives me kind of crazy:)
He loves to go to the playground. We're trying to enjoy the fall-like bordering winter-like weather for us Texans before it gets too cold to go to the park. Most of the time though, he doesn't want to leave, and then he whines the whole way home.
He has started running lately and taken a few spills, but he gets so excited when he goes fast.
He loves to bring me socks, and makes me put them on. The other day, he had 3 pairs of socks on.
He is learning to identify parts of his body. He especially likes his toes, ears, and belly.
AND...he's still obsessed with dogs.
He would love that...but I wouldn't! Besides we can't have a puppy in our lovely student housing:)
