My Sweetie

Yesterday morning, I had planned on going to a childrens thrift store to browse for toys and clothes for N.  I checked the weather the night before, and the forecast said 50 degrees and no rain whatsoever.  S. makes fun of me for checking the weather so often here, so I did not check it in the morning before we left.  Well, we get all bundled up, load up our stuff in the stroller, go down the elevator, and get out the door, just to discover it was raining.   I called S. to have him check the weather to see if it was just a passing rain shower, but he informs me that there is a 100% chance of rain all day, so we came back upstairs, because I didn't care to walk a mile there in the rain.  I was a bit bummed and in a funk, well S. decided he was going to cheer me up.  Once N. went down for his nap, S. surprised me by turning on my favorite movie--Pride and Prejudice.  So I spent a lovely afternoon, watching my favorite movie, taking a little nap, and even eating ice cream.  Thank you sweetie for cheering me up and making me happy!  I love you.
