We've had a lot going on since I last posted (baby girl was born, N. was baptized, S. climbed a mountain, P. started kinder, etc), so I'm going to slowly catch up! Here's random july-ness without sweet baby girl!
Forney splash pad--two big boys played follow the leader and had a blast...E. did not love having water on him--even though it was HOT.
Riding the train around the pond...
P. got in trouble for running off, so he had to sit on the blanket and not play on the bounce houses anymore...
Waiting for the fireworks--having fun with glowsticks!
Awesome view of the fireworks and super-close to the shuttle school bus, so we could be the first ones on and headed home...
S. was prepping for his high adventure with the young men, so him and N. would go on practice hikes...we joined them for a mile or two of this one--this was the day before I had baby sister--so maybe that helped her decide to come...
4th of July parade in Arlington with Oma & Opa while we were at the hospital...
Target practice...
Just reading together in their messy closet...
Formula 1 Racing...
Doing the splits...
They spent a super-fun day with friends which gave me and baby girl some much needed rest and respite from my crazy boys! I'm grateful we have good friends like them that are practically family!
Spending time at Grandma's with cousins
N. looked like he was disappearing in the pool, because his rash guard was the same color...
Fort building...
Cute little dinosaur...
Boxes are way fun...E. was dressed in a way too big iron-man costume that he refused to take off, but was constantly slipping on it...
The peach place--Ham's orchards--we visit every summer with Grandma for peaches and ice cream...
Cousins came this time...at one point I had all of them except my sister's little girl outside watching the train--one lady came up to me and said, "they're not all yours, are they." I should have said yes--6 kids and a little newborn would have made for a shocking surprise...I definitely don't see that many kids in my future!
E. was sad it was all gone...
E. was very, very excited to see a real, live loud train!
Swimming at my brothers...
My brother is an awesome uncle--taking E. all around the pool, making sure everyone is having fun and is safe...he is really so much fun!
Doing lots of wrestling moves with E...E. loved it!
Razor go-cart--kids had a blast...
Bedtime stories read by N...
Rangers game with family...
