july in pics

We blessed baby E. at church, and some family was able to come!
Family of 5 now!
My sister was in town with her family, so the boys enjoyed cousin (and aunt McKenna) time at Grandmas!  I forgot the boys swimsuits, so P. ended up swimming in his underwear after his shorts got too heavy.
Legos with Gracie and Cheyenne

So the week leading up to the 4th of July started with N. being sick, then ended with P. being way sicker than N.--he couldn't keep anything down for 2 days straight, and ran a high fever 2 days prior to that.  I was a nervous wreck about getting the baby sick, so S. being the holiday was able to take off and focus care on P.  It was not a fun week, very stressful, but I'm grateful that us adults and baby stayed healthy.  I took N. & E. to the 4th of July parade in Arlington with S.'s parents.  P. was still sick, but N. enjoyed it.  I kept seeing all the parade and thinking P. would have loved this.
E. enjoying some sleep during the parade...
Since we didn't get to go see fireworks due to sick kids, we recorded some on tv, turned the lights off, and got some glow stick flags to watch them a few days after--kind of lame, I know, but the boys still enjoyed it!

Ham's Orchards aka the peach place with McKenna and grandma!
Fave part was watching the train go by...
We ran an errand to toys r us to let N. spend a birthday gift card, and lucked out to see Mater and Lightning McQueen in the parking lot...
Sweet frog frozen yogurt treat to celebrate N. finishing his summer reading chart...
P. is very creative and chatty, and at dinner one night, he just starts talking excitedly and doing his arms crazy--turns out he decided to pretend he was juggling at the dinner table...
Pirate camp with two girls from church--they loved it and had an absolute blast...
Sword fighting...
P. was defeated...
P. wanted a front row seat for story time...
Water slide fun...
Hanging out at Grandmas for the day, so I could finally sew E.'s curtains--my brother Israel showed up, so the boys had a blast with their cousin, Caleb.
My brother is sooo good with kids and loves sports, so him and P. make the perfect pair!
Cousin time with S.'s side of the fam!
P. loves her...
Helping dad build a storage bench for outside...I told P. to smile and this is what he did, wowsers!
N. and E.
More cousin time...
Love this baby...
We finally made it on a play-date with friends, and got out of the house(besides visits to family), and went to a indoor bounce house place in Plano--boys had sooo much fun!
