He arrived about 2 weeks ago and the time has gone by in a fuzzy blur:) Delivery was great-painful, of course, but short-lived. I started having contractions at about 5am, got to the birthing center at 8:30am, and had P. at 10:53am. I couldn't believe he was here so fast. We were also home by 4pm that day. S. joked as we were pulling into the driveway that it was just like we were out running errands, but came back with a baby in tow. It was a bit surreal. Recovery was quick and I felt back to normal(except sleep-deprived) within a week. The only glitch along the way was I got sick--running a high fever and feeling weak for 4 days. Now I'm finally better and trying to get adjusted to taking care of my two boys.
Anyways some stats: at birth: 6 lbs 6 oz, 21 inches long--He's long and skinny! Now he's 7 lbs 6 oz and 21 1/2 inches long.
He loves to nurse, loves to be held, screams when he cries(doesn't really have a sweet newborn cry), and can be a bit feisty, but sweet. He had his days and nights mixed up the first 10 days or so, but is finally getting better at sleeping at nighttime. He's always a bit of a puzzle when it comes to calming him down, so he keeps us on our toes.
We feel very blessed to have another healthy boy!
He is so cute!!! His face reminds me so much of Noah. What a cutie. Good luck to you new momma:)
