mom of two...

I've almost made it through my first full week on my own with the boys.  It's been a little crazy.  It's been good and bad.  At times, I've felt like I can do this and other times I felt like I can't possibly be a mom of two.  We've kept busy though.  We've ran plenty of errands and figured out that we can't fit very many groceries with P.'s carseat in the back of the cart and N. in the seat.  Wal-Mart carts are better than Targets.  Anyways, we went to Lowe's to pick up a few things the other day, and on the way, N. is in the backseat telling P. that we are going to the "fix-it store" where they have tractors aka riding lawn mowers--so cute of N.  N. has taken a nap 2 out of the 5 days and is really frustrating me.  P. is taking naps for the most part in his crib now, instead of my arms, so I feel like we can get a few things done.  P. is still not sleeping very long at a time at night--the most he sleeps is 3 to 3 1/2 hours at a time between feedings.  I can't wait to get a longer stretch of sleep!!!  We had a play-date at a friends house.  It was so good to go hang out and exchange mommy talk, and N. kept saying, "mom, I had a fun day."  My stroller came yesterday-I finally decided on the baby jogger city mini...I'm excited to get to use it although it is a too hot to go for walks right now.  P. took his first bottle from S. the other night and devoured it in a few minutes and than wanted to nurse too.  At least there's hope that he'll take a bottle-N. never would until he was 9 months old.  I know this post is super random...but just some of my thoughts about the week while the two boys are both asleep--a rare moment:).

P. on the quilt my mom made--I love it!
 He's growing...not so skinny anymore...

Both the boys tuckered out after a trip to Target...this was one of the days N. was adamant that he was not tired and didn't need a nap...
