little bits of happiness...

I woke up this morning to the pitter-pattering of little feet running down the hallway saying "momma, daddy."  It was then followed by N. cuddling in bed with us for a good 2-3 minutes which is a record for N.--he's not usually a cuddler and will lay on you for 5 seconds tops (unless you're Grandma or Oma and then he loves to cuddle with you:).  It's kind of fun moving into this new stage with N. growing up.  Even though he's been in a toddler bed for almost 2 weeks, he usually stays in his room at his door--this was the 1st time he came running to find us in the morning.  It reminds me of when I was a kid and we would go climb in mom and dad's bed on the weekends.  Anyways, it made me happy.
