NYC

I'm a little sad the chapter of our life living in nyc is about to end, so I'm trying to see a few things for the last time and just enjoy it.  We took the subway up to Times Square yesterday.  I had a free $10 gift card for Red Lobster(from Discover card), so N. and I enjoyed a late afternoon lunch.  He colored on the kids menu, ate yummy biscuits, a shrimp, and some french fries, but most of all he loved all the fish in the aquarium and all the fish decor.  After that, we went to Toys R Us.  We made a Times Square souvenir penny there--N. helped me crank the machine and thought it was cool.  We spent most of our time at the train table.  N. was so excited to play with the trains--over and over he would yell choo-choo.  N. also loved watching the huge ferris wheel.  After that, I decided that it would be fun to walk home, so we walked from Broadway in Times Square all the way down to Broadway and 3rd.  It's a little over 2 miles, but it was worth it--I love being surrounded by buildings and seeing all the unique architecture and thinking about how long some of the buildings have been around and who built them or the people that may have lived there.  Anyways, another fun afternoon in nyc.
