P.

Thought I would post about my little boy--I guess I can't call him my baby anymore--he's too big...

We get a lot of time together these days with big brother off at school--sometimes we drive each other crazy (N. is way more exciting to play with than mom), but I love hearing his little voice and hanging with him.  He is in mother's day out once a week from 9-2.  He acts clingy when I drop him off, but his teacher says he talks a ton, plays, giggles, and has fun, so I guess I can't feel guilty for leaving him.

 Pics from his first day...
*He loves putting on N.'s soccer cleats and socks...and tries to join the big boys at soccer practice and games--I get a lot of exercise from chasing after him while he laughs the whole time.
He spends a lot of time in his pj's these days!
 P. got his first happy meal and loved the toy and playing with his friends at the playplace--he only got stuck once and I was the lucky one to climb up to get him--thankfully I'm small.
Another pic in cleats and socks--this one was in carpool line to pick up N from school...
Playing at a bounce house place...there was a basketball goal here that was way too high for the little ones, so P. wanted me to try--everytime I missed it, he would throw a real temper tantrum on the ground--apparently my sports skills are frustrating to him.
It's typical in the mornings for P. to play a bit in the playroom while I get some tidying up down in the kitchen...this particular day, he emptied out the ottoman of toys and was reading in it when I found him!
Nap time--most days P. takes a nap, but often he plays in his crib forever before actually falling asleep, so he is often woken up by me to go get N. from school, and he's a total grouch when he's woken up...sometimes he'll scream the whole way to go get N. and back, but here he looks so peaceful.
Put all these pillows and blankets on the couch, after he had spent a while jumping all over them on the floor...
Other P. doings...
*Into barns and farm animals right now--loves doing the sounds--always points out the barn on our way to get N.
*Still obsessed with balls
*Eats yogurt or mini wheats for breakfast
*Talking lots and lots
*The other day, he got right in my face, and very sweetly moved my bangs out of my eyes--I guess I was hiding
*Peter waves to Elmo (he calls hem memo) everytime we drive past party city (there's a pic of elmo is the window) which is on the way to target, so we see it often.
*Anytime we go to a store, he asks for toys and I guess I'm a sucker because most of the time, we will stop by the toy department and look (we have lots of time together to fill)
*Likes to climb into N.'s carseat instead of his own--thinks it's funny
*Prefers pushing a shopping cart instead of sitting in it, so shopping is becoming interesting.
