I first thought I was a bit crazy to take the boys on my own to the fair, but I decided to go for it, and I'm glad we did, because we had a blast! We saw a bunch of shows--the dog show, pig races, backyard circus, the bird show, and bike stunts. We also ate tons of treats--popsicles, snow cones,and cotton candy for the boys; fried oreos and fried snickers for me. We also enjoyed corn dogs and lemonade. N. rode an airplane ride and had to see big Tex and the electric trains. We also went into the petting zoo area to see all the animals. It was fun to share all the things I loved about the fair with my kiddos, and even more fun to hear both of them talking about what they saw at dinner--P. kept talking about the pigs and the "mens on bikes".
P. became such a stickey, wet mess from the popsicle that we had to change him into N.'s xt shirt...
