August in pics...

Wow...is it really almost October...yikes--better catch up on August...

N. won a $20 gift card to Walmart as part of the library's summer reading program and chose to buy this airport from the movie planes!

 N. watches a few shows or a movie in the afternoon when P. naps...this day I had been in the kitchen cleaning...I came into the living room to the lights out (they're usually on), and him passed out with his Rangers hat on.

My first mani and pedi--it was awesome...I was able to totally relax, not be rushed, and chit-chat with Cindy--it was perfect, so thank you for the friends that got me the gift card--I enjoyed it!

So Isaac would put one finger up his nose as pictured, then proceed to oink like a pig--it was hilarious, and my boys decided to follow him and were doing the same pig sounds with a finger up their nose...

My hubby and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary this year--crazy, huh?  I dropped the kids at my parents and met him for lunch in downtown.  He totally surprised me with a pearl ring--the exact one I had been wanting for years, but didn't forsee actually getting it for way more years.  I feel incredibly loved and very special.  I love it!

 

My birthday was spent down at my family's since my sister came to town with her 4 kiddos!

 Sleepover with McKenna before school started...both slept on the top bunk...

 

They were playing outside while P. napped...I went outside to check on them a few times--the first time they were sitting in chairs in the pool with the dinosaur "raining" on them...

 2nd time...they were running around with buckets on their heads to protect themselves with the poison from the dinosaur (the water)...they even covered random toys around the yard with bucket to protect them...I love McKenna's creativity!
