March misc.

My little sister, McKenna came and stayed with us for a few days during spring break while my mom went on a vacation with her sisters.  We had a blast together and were all exhausted especially N. who thinks he's big enough to stay up late with McKenna.  I love having her--she's keeps my kiddos entertained and is so sweet.  At one point, I even cleaned both bathrooms without interruptions while they played in the backyard.  We tried to do a few fun things while she was here so that she would have an extra special spring break.  We made stained glass rainbows for st patricks day, made angry birds pizza, went to chick-fil-a for dinner, had a picnic lunch at the park, put together these glow-in-the-dark dinosaurs, had fun with glowsticks at bedtime, and played, played, played especially with trains!

The Dallas County Sheriffs Department held a banquet and were giving out an Atticus Award( "This award goes to the employee who emulates our Jr. Deputy Atticus Eric Hansen's characteristics of love, perseverance, strength, and courage while faced with adversity.").  We were blessed to be special guests with the Hansens and share this special night with them.  Love you Atticus!
"I'm so lucky to be your mom"--A special St. Patricks Day Treat for my boys.  S. and I also got a much needed night out at the Grady's St. Patricks Day Party--soooo fun!
Hanging out the library--P. was totally giving the huge curious george a giant hug.
Still loves the lego trains at the library...
Easter egg hunt with our friends from church--it was super cold--the hunt lasted for all of ten minutes, and then we decided to head over somewhere warm and kid friendly aka McDonalds for lunch and playtime.
Dallas Arboretum with friends and my mom! Love the tulips. I even got to see one of our friends from our time in NYC and met her darling girl Kate.
Wanted to roll down the big hill over and over--had to practically drag him out of there--the rest of us were ready to go, but he kept saying one more time!
Hanging with our buds...
The things I do to try to get P. to cooperate during a YW meeting--cars and snacks(in the living room--usually a no-no in our house)
 N. being my cleaning helper--he had cleaned the windows, and outside of the appliances, and then preceded to clean the inside of the dishwasher--he was really enjoying using the spray, but I'll take it--usually he's not that cooperative.
My little boys playing trains together--they were even making the train sound too!
 Easter eggs...
Finished product with glitter and stickers and our names written on them!
