S. went out of town to Jersey (and got to visit NYC--I'm a little jealous), so my parents were headed down to visit my sister, Kara, and help them get settled in their new town, so the boys and I decided to join them. P. and N. had a blast playing with McKenna, Cheyenne, and Gracie. We explored their little town, discovered an awesome toy store specializing in trains, helped Kara clean (their new home--a rental--wasn't cleaned too well by the owner, but it has tons of space for the kids to run around), and enjoyed riding in Papa's big truck. I love my family.
Finger-painting while the babies were asleep:)

N. loves making wacky faces and loves dancing around to music especially some awesome 80s music--some friends made me a cd for my birthday from songs that came out from the year I was born--N. loves it:)
P. loves to wrestle with blankets...
My crazy boys--P. is loving the car, but loves to be pushed, and N. will usually be sweet and push him around...
Getting too big...
S.'s been working late, so the boys are in bed when he gets home, but we always enjoy a little bit of time in the morning together before he takes off...
Playing outside...N. wanted pictures together of them matching, but P. wasn't too cooperative...
Still wears his Angels for Atticus wristband non-stop...
Learning to climb--
We had a wedding reception at a close friends house in Mansfield. The boys had a blast with Aunt McKenna swinging in the rocker swing--it was dark, so the flash was bright, and the pictures aren't great, but I love the excitement on their faces...I love that she loves them, and they adore her!
My birthday--my mom came over, hung out and took me out to lunch at panera, we made a yummy oreo cake--thanks pinterest...then Cindy and Jene threw me a birthday party girls night out--it was soooo much fun--probably the most fun birthday party ever and I mean it. We pigged out on delicious treats and played xbox Kinect just dance--quite hilarious...I hadn't laughed that hard in a long time--I was terrible at it, but it was FUN! I was also spoiled by my friends--I got some navy TOMS, a yummy smelling candle, and a gift certificate to the spa to get my first pedicure--I'm the only one who has never had one;)
We've gone swimming lots--thanks to the girls that live in Stoney Creek, have a community pool, and are always inviting us. I feel so lucky to have so many amazing friends. The boys definitely have fun, while the moms chit-chat. P. loves his float, and can walk around the kiddie pool in it-don't you love the flower though;)--thanks cindy for giving us your extra.
P. always ends up chilling eating his snacks--what a life:)
P.'s first time playing at the mall--we had to return something for S., so I let the boys play in the not so nice play area of Town East Mall--Galleria is much better, but at least this one it close. P. loved it, he especially loved going under the bridge over and over and through a tunnel.
P. loves standing up using the dryer, and helping me with laundry--he usually gets to ride in the basket as we push clothes to their rooms in the house...
Crazy N.
Oma sent me an awesome birthday card, that lights up with a crown(queenqualls) and plays the royalty song...P. loves it...
P. loves pushing the shopping cart around the house--makes loops around our kitchen/living/playroom, but you will often hear him scream out in frustration when he runs into anything and gets stuck--he's quite the firecracker...
N.'s friend Emery had a little family get-together/bday party at the bowling alley and few saturdays ago...it was N.'s first time bowling, and he had a blast--he even scored in the 60s with bumpers of course. He had tons of fun running around with all the kids.
Getting ready to throw...
Watching it go...
While August has had lots of fun moments, it's also had some not so good stuff--we got into two wrecks--one in each car. S. hit another car while driving my car--we were going a few miles per hour when we hit him, but they was nothing we could do--the guy totally stopped in front of us--it's a long story, but I'd rather not go into it--we're still trying to fight that one out with insurance. Then a few weeks later, I got rear-ended in S.'s car coming home from chaperoning a stake youth dance. The guy had insurance, and they're was nothing I could have done, but it still shook us up, and is a pain to deal with. I'm grateful everyone was safe, and that our cars are still drivable, but it still stinks. N. when I'm driving and getting close to a car, freaks out, and starts saying, "Don't hit it, momma, don't hit it."
