P.

age 1
*Waved hello at Oma's for the first time a month or so ago-he was crawling around the house exploring and would stop raise his arm and wave hello and smile
*Is a whiney, grouchy baby; is very clingy-always wanting to be held so it makes it hard to get something done--especially cooking dinner
*Has a beautiful smile when you can actually get him too-other people tend to make him smile more than me--has a cheeser smile that he turns on lately
*Drinks milk out of a sippy cup really well--hooray I'm done with nursing
*Puts anything small in his mouth-things such as rocks, leaves, dirt, grass, paper, crumbs on the floor, and a bandaid that fell of n.'s finger (I know disgusting)
*He likes looking at board books, loves taking things in and out, likes taking off the magnets on the fridge, obsessed with n.'s colored pencils and then cries when I take them away, likes waving toys above his head *When he's mad or upset, he slams his head on the ground then slides it across the ground
*Is going to be a climber-when you are holding him, he tries to climb over you. Tried to climb up the slide at the park and got pretty far
*Loves to wrestle and attack--him and N. have so much fun--they get pretty rough, but P. is usually laughing and having a blast...he also assumes all kids like it, and likes to try to wrestle kids his same age at church--not so good
*Almost always has something in his hand, like a ball, marker, car or magnet--and crawls around holding it--watching him crawl with a ball is quite entertaining
*Has started this loud scream, but it's usually out of excitement
*Loves other kids and other mommies
*Sleeps through the night now-7 to 7
*Loves his Grandma and his Oma--will always crawl up to their feet and wait for them to pick him up--loves to be held by them--the other day at my family's, P. crawled to me, looked up, then kept going until he found Grandma
*Loves S.'s phone, remotes, and really any electronics
*Always throwing things down when he doesn't want them anymore--mainly from his high-chair, stroller, and shopping carts, and while sitting on my lap at church

We love this boy.  We can't believe he's one!  It went by slow at first, but the past six months have flown by.  He keeps us on our toes, tests our patience, but still makes us smile.  I love watching the crazy ways he plays and how opposite he is from N.

Climbing up the slide...
One of his many silly expressions and crawling around holding his marker (love, love, loves markers--and it's fine until he can get the lid off)...
Attacking N.--especially loves attacking him right after N. is out of the bath and wrapped up in his yellow towel...
