I love my husband sooooo much. I'm so grateful I found him. We're best friends. He makes me happy--he gets me and knows me better than I know myself. We celebrated his birthday in May. I had originally planned a weekend of celebrations, but car problems and other pressing things turned up, so we still have some celebrating to do soon. We still managed to have cake and ice cream with my family, and a birthday dinner of hamburgers, potato dippers, and blue bell red velvet ice cream. Later, we'll make a family visit over to the Fort Worth Stockyards for BBQ!
Old-school Ninja Turtles candles from S.'s mom--she's kept them forever ago
S. must love me and my family so much, b/c he spent a few hours of his birthday at my little sister's dance recital. We love you Kenna!
I love Sunday afternoons, when my boys will play together. N. loves playing with Daddy--loves building cool race tracks, building with lincoln logs, wrestling, and coming up with all kinds of crazy games. P. is starting to join in on the fun. Da-da always does cool stuff--way cooler than Momma;)
So, we actually had a date-night and the boys had their first babysitter other than family, so we could go to a Cinco de Mayo party thrown by a couple from our church. They had a caricature artist there who drew each couple. I love ours--it's framed in our room--although S. says it looks nothing like him and I say the girl is way more beautiful than me;) I love my sweetie!
I recognize that cake! Glad to see you two are doing so well. I can't believe you're a family of four! What a darling family!
ReplyDeleteWe love that cake! I always think of you when I make it! It's so yummy--thanks for the recipe from forever ago. I'm so, so happy for you and Taylor as you will have a sweet baby boy soon! We love little boys at our house:)
