Santa

Today we met at Macy's for playgroup.  First, we went to a marionette puppet show of Miracle on 34th St.  It was really cute.  N. really wanted to go touch the puppets and get closer to the stage, but he still enjoyed it and sat in my lap most of the time.  Then we headed to Macy's Santaland, which was completely decked out in holiday decorations.  At first, it was like you were on a train headed to the North Pole, then you got off at the train stop, and entered the North Pole, then the elves' workshop, and then ended with Santa!  N. actually let Santa pick him up and put him in his lap, while most of the other toddlers with us screamed.  They actually let me take a picture on my camera, so I was excited, because I definitely wasn't going to buy a picture:)

Mrs. Claus teaching them a song before the puppet show(they wouldn't let you take pictures once the show started).  Hearing Mrs. Claus reminds me of a few students at the school I used to teach who couldn't say my name very well(mainly a few kindergartners or younger siblings of my 1st graders), and it turned into Mrs. Claus.

Loving the trees and decorations...sadly we don't have a tree or any decorations this year
