Every once in a while...I like to write about N. He is constantly doing new things, and this is my way to keep track:)
He now loves imitating a monkey. When he sees one in a book or on his pop-up toy, he says "ahhh" really loud(short for ooh-ooh, aah-aah), and waves his arms back and forth.
His new favorite thing to do is play "Ring Around the Rosy." When he wants me play it with him, he grabs both of my hands and drags me into our entryway/dining room. Then he wants to do it over and over again, until I'm dizzy and can't do it anymore. He loves when I fall and lay flat on the ground. Sometimes, he falls too, but most of the time, he just climbs on me, then stands up and grabs my hands to start it all over again.
N. is still attached to his pacifier at naps and bedtimes. He used to have 2 in his crib with him--1 for his mouth and 1 to hold. Now, he has to have 3, or he won't go to sleep. So now, he has 1 in his mouth, and 1 in each hand. Crazy kid...
He now can climb into his stroller all by himself and sit down. Then he just waits for me to buckle him in. He loves going places.
At the end of story time, the librarian pulls out a bin of toys for the babies to play with. N. loves to play, but he loves cleaning up the toys even more. Whenever she says it's time to clean up, he's the first one to start, and he is running all over the place picking up the toys, then taking them back to the bin. Some babies are more reluctant to put up their toy, but N. will try to get them to give it to him, so he can put it up(but he never actually takes it away, because he's a big sweetheart). It's so funny to watch him!
A baby who loves to clean up?! Get that kid in Nursery NOW! :)
