E. gets VERY excited when it's his day to go to school! I carpool with 2 other moms--which is awesome, and he loves to wait and watch for them!
She is loved by her brothers...
I laid her down on a blanket outside--it was morning and the sun was kind of behind a cloud, but is was still too bright for little miss to open her eyes...
Lawn-mowing...
So, I'm trying to get into some kind of shape after I've had 4 kiddos--this particular morning I went walking, so I'm all sweaty and no make-up, but the kids don't care...
Waiting for the boys to get off the bus--a lego magazine came in the mail--still in pjs..and this is 4 in the afternoon
We took a short road trip to see my sister and her family and be there when they blessed their new baby at church. We were also watching aunt McKenna for the weekend as my parents were out of town. We stopped at a gas station to nurse C. and take a bathroom break and everyone was hungry, so S. was a good sport, and while I nursed in the car, he took them all inside to get a snack--we don't eat in the car, so they were hungry!
We also celebrated my sister's twins birthdays when we were there--can't believe they are 4--they are our little miracle babies, being born 12 weeks early and each other 2lbs!
Present opening and playing...the girls taught S. about shopkins...
My sister, brother-in-law and her 5 kiddos!
Playing with cousins--they're only 2 months apart...
E. just couldn't stay awake any longer--he fell asleep sitting up on their couch...
More bus waiting and playing in the front yard...
C. was napping, so E. needed too as well!
Eating lunch with our big kindergartner on grandparents day...
E. is the biggest copycat--he got in line with his hands behind his back holding his lunch box just like his big brother...
Fun at the perot...
A brave soul...holding the archery target for daddy...
E. loves his friend from church and school...we're watching him periodically while his mom (my good friend) is subbing at the elementary school and getting experience to become a teacher...
I laugh when I saw this pic on my phone--E. is always snapping photos...this particular one captured S. drinking his milk from his cereal bowl...
Soaked after running through the rain at soccer practice...
A monsoon came out of nowhere--it was quite a funny sight--me running in flip-flops pushing a double stroller...luckily the canopies kept E. and C. mostly dry...
Racing cars down the driveway at Papas...
Cooling off with a popsicle...
Helping McKenna plant a fall garden...
Someone thought giving E. the hose was a good idea...he was drenched and muddy...thankfully we just gave them all a bath in Grandma's tub, put them in jammies, and loaded up to come home at bedtime...
He really likes soccer just like his biggest brother...
Lunch with N.
P. loves N.'s soccer practice...he rides his balance bike like a mad man, and plays with some other boys..they dig in the dirt, play with sticks, run all over, wrestle...I'm glad he has this time to run free and be a boy...
Sunglasses at breakfast...
There's a sprayground by the soccer fields, and since it was still so hot, I let them run around in it after the game...
I love my time all day with these two...but I'm also glad they both nap and give me a break sometimes...
This kiddo was just playing with legos after dinner, when I see him, and I'm like, P. what's on your face...he says nothing...so I showed him on my phone--apparently he didn't notice a huge blob of yogurt left on his face from dinner...
Patting her head--she's not so sure...
This crazy N. was sick for almost a whole week--most of the time, he was in good spirits and felt pretty good, just had a fever, so he couldn't go to school...it ended up being strep, and we got him on antibiotics to help him recover. This day, he had finished weaving this hat he started at school out of yarn...
