Every year, while growing up, S.'s mom threw a backyard carnival celebrating end of summer/back to school kick off. This year, she mentioned to me that she would like to start that up again the the boys, so we planned it totally last minute and had it at our place so N.'s friends could make it. She brought all the games from when her boys were young. The kids had a blast, and I'm excited to continue on this old tradition! Thanks so much, Oma, for planning it, setting it up, and playing with the kids. N. is already excited for next years' carnival!
