We are so blessed to be a friend of Atticus' and his family and to go on this adventure with them. We (Peter, too) got to ride in a limo to McDonalds, and then were treated royally by the McDonalds folks--with a tour, lunch, cake, and a magic show by Ronald McDonald, himself. We had so much fun--the kids were all laughing and so was I. It made me so happy to see Atticus so happy and all the kids faces filled with joy. N. did not want to get in the limo on the way there--I literally had to force him in--he was the last one to squish in, but by the end, he was loving it. When we came home, he said, "Mom, I love limos now." In my head, I was saying yeah, but you probably won't ride in one again:) Anyways, we're so thankful for the Hansens and for all the people that made this possible. Please keep Atti and his family in your prayers!

P. tuckered out by the end--fell asleep on the car ride home and stayed asleep in his carseat until I woke him up an hour later for dinner:)
