*he has 4 teeth--two on bottom, 1 top front tooth, and 1 vampire tooth or canine--he's about to get the other top two and has been a fussy mess
*he loves cheerios and gerber puffs--whenever I dump some onto his tray, he makes a mad dash with his hands to get them--about half make it into his mouth, but he's learning:)
*he has started sitting in shopping carts--he looks so big:)
*his favorite song is wheels on the bus
*he slept through the night last night, but I don't expect it again:)
*his head has changed a lot with his helmet--they're still trying to get his ears to shift a little more, so we'll see how much longer--probably a month or so
P.'s latest trick--to me he looks like he is a skydiver--he gets on his tummy, kicks his legs, and puts his arms back and out to the side--it's too funny:)
N.--he truly is growing up so fast. I love his crazy, silly personality. I love talking to him and listening to him. I love his crazy, awesome memory--he remembers things from a really long time ago and things that I've since forgotten--one of his very common phrases is "you remember that, mom."
*He loves playing with friends. He loves Atticus--every prayer we say during the day, we mention Atticus. He has gotten to play with him a few times lately, and N. absolutely loves it and won't stop talking about it.
*He loves his Aunt McKenna and both sets of Grandparents. Whenever we leave either of their houses, he's already asking when we can see them again.
*He loves school. He loves learning letters and is getting better at writing letters. He loves Mrs. Cherry.
*He really enjoys painting and coloring. He recently got a paint with water book and loves it.
*He loves puzzles. Every time I find a new puzzle that I think will be challenge, he figures it out lickety-split. At school, Mrs. Cherry says he loves doing puzzles and helps other kids with them--you can always count on him to figure it out:)
*He really enjoys primary at church. He always takes his scriptures. He is learning the articles of faith and enjoys listening to the cd of primary songs. It's so sweet to hear him singing along.
*He still loves trains. The other day he was riding with S. in the car, and he said, "Dad, there's train tracks!...then before S. could even say, "Yeah, bud."...Dad, A TRAIN, HERE COMES A TRAIN!!!" He came home and excitedly told me about it and said it was the longest train ever.
*Some funny things he's said lately...
"Soon, we're going to have 3 dads." I asked him what he meant, and he said me and. P will be dads too, just like dad, so that makes 3.
N. and I were making brownies, he was stirring, and then said, "Mom, it's chocolate!" I said, "I know, did you know I love chocolate." Then he replied, "Yeah, I love chocolate too. You are my bestest friend ever."
"Play with me, dang it, mom."
"I'm a running toot."
"You're a toot, mom" Why? "Because you're silly"
I'm constantly hearing this phrase when we're driving in the car in the afternoon..."Mom, my eyes won't stay open...they won't." He doesn't take naps anymore, but is so tired and will almost always zonk in the car.
"Chill your jets, mom"
"Seriously"
"I'm crunchy."
"I want all the library books." Me--Then, the library wouldn't have any books. N-"They could come here to get books."
The other day, about 6:15am, I hear him out in the living room singing. S. peeks out, and he is sitting on the couch with his photo book turning the pages singing to himself. "I like playing with Atticus. I like playing with McKenna. I like playing games with Daddy. I like to draw. I like going to school. I like playing with Laney. I like P. pumpkin eater.
My crazy boys...
