*full of energy, loves his little brother, but can get upset when I am feeding P. or have to hold him--wants attention, loves it when P. smiles at him--P. is always on the look out for N. and loves to look at him and see what he is up to
*pushing his limits a bit lately--when you tell him to stop or don't, he'll continue to do it with this mischievous look on his face
*is getting better at talking in the 1st person instead of the 3rd person
*some phrases I hear over and over again in a day are "play with me, mom", "why", and "I don't know"
*loves to do mazes and hidden pictures
*when we go to the park now, he wants to play with other kids, but isn't quite sure how to go about it...is better with a little bit older kid or a kid that will take charge a little bit
*loves mopping and always wants to do it--I definitely mop more than I used to, since he loves to help and since our tile is pure white and shows everything
*loves the show "Olivia" and will wander the house singing the opening tune
*has quite an imagination on him lately, starting to pretend play, likes to pretend shoot bad monsters with what he calls shooters
*has a love/hate relationship with school right now--doesn't want to go the day of, but comes home telling me how much fun he had, then wants to go the next day when there is no school, then back to not wanting to go again--who knows...
*about a month ago,we asked him what his name was, and he decided to be silly and say "Cinderella"(we have no idea where he got it from-probably my little sister). I asked him if he even knew who Cinderella was. He doesn't say anything. I tell him she's a princess, and he says that I was a princess like Cinderella when I got married--so precious! (I had just shown him some pictures from when S. and I got married since it was our anniversary.)
*funny interaction between S. and N.--N. had been in and out of the kitchen while I was making my lunch, but then he came in a few minutes later and saw me eating a sandwich. He got real whiny, saying “NO, Dad! You eat your sandwich at work!” I explained that I still had a sandwich for work, but that I also felt like eating a sandwich for breakfast today, so I made another sandwich. All of the sudden he got an excited look on this face, and with increasing excitement with each word said “Oh, that’s a good idea!” Then with full excitement he said “That’s a great idea, Dad!” He went on repeat the “great idea” part a few more times.
*came home from school and told me he fingerpainted waterlilies like the painting in his classroom--meaning Monet's waterlilies--anyways I love the study of art they are doing at his school
he built daddy's work from blocks(the day before P. was born)
Playing around with the boppy pillow
mommy's sunglasses
having a treat with momma--frozen yogurt--he chose blueberry and vanilla with m&m's on top
