Our friends, the Hale family, are going through so much right now. Rob suffered a brain hemorrage two weeks ago yesterday. He is in critical condition. Mercedi, Rob, and their two boys are one of the most amazing, sweet families I have ever met. They made us feel so welcome when we first moved back to Dallas from NYC. We lived in the same apartment complex and went to church together. N. is the same age as their oldest, and we had many playdates and girls nights at her place. They were just about to start "real life" in a few short weeks. Rob was about to finish endodontics school, and they were to move to Colorado for a job and finally settle down. Now their entire world has changed. They have no idea of the implications of Rob's condition yet or how long it will take to recover. He needs prayers...he needs a miracle. Mercedi, his sweet wife, has inspired me through all of this. She has so much faith in the future even though it may not be the future they had planned out. Please, please keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
