We were given a free hotel voucher from some friends who couldn't use it and had a lovely, one-night getaway to Austin(not this past weekend, but the one before)--just the two of us. What we did...
- ate some delicious BBQ at the Salt Lick
- watched the bats emerge from the Congress Ave bridge from our hotel room
- relaxed in our super-nice hotel room, and I took a much needed nap
- met up with our friends from nyc that now live in Austin--so much fun to catch up!
- went to the LBJ library and museum
- went to the Austin Museum of Art at Laguna Gloria that is housed in the beautiful 1916 home of Clara Driscoll, enjoyed walking through the gardens
