N. lately

• loves giving big hugs--says it so cute, attacks you and squeezes you really tight

• enjoys doing puzzles--I found him this wooden train puzzle at a garage sale and was worried it might be too difficult for him, but it's just perfect.  He can do it all by himself, just takes a bit of concentration and effort. (as you can tell he's crazy, and can't make a normal face for the camera)

• still loves playing with trains, has especially been wanting to build his own tracks...this was latest creation using almost all his tracks(side-note: a few weeks ago while playing with trains at Oma's, she said bump-bump as she drove a car across the train track.  He thought it was hilarious and giggled everytime she said it.  Now he says it all the time, whether it's while I'm driving and it's bumpy, or when he drives his cars from the carpet to the tile at our place.  It's so cute when he says it.)

 

• loves playing with all his blankets--rolls around with them in his bed, on the floor, drags them into the living room, and his latest--laying on the ottoman and having me cover him up with every single blanket--looks so comfy!
