Weekend going-ons

• I woke up early Saturday morning to go garage sale-ing(it looks wrong when I spell it saling) with some girlfriends.  It was fun...I got a small coffee table that I'm going to use as a train table for N. and a few little toys and a belt and bag for me.  At first I couldn't decide if I wanted the table or not, so I was calling S.  Meanwhile my friend was asking if they would take $8 for it instead of $12.  The girl said she needed to go ask her aunt.  The aunt walks out and yells "J." and I yell back Suzy...Anyways she was a teacher I worked with who I loved and this was actually a garage sale for the school relay for life team(she just was having it up in Dallas at her mom's place)--small world
• S. and I had a date night Saturday courtesy of S.'s parents.  I think the last time we went out was back in nyc around Valentines day.  Anyways, we went to the movies(finally saw Eclipse), then went to dinner at Houlihans(which was very tasty), and got shakes on the way back.  
• We had some friends over for dinner last night.  I made some chicken enchiladas with homemade red chili pepper sauce and a blackberry cobbler-mmmm.  Anyways, S. works with the husband, and we knew them from when we lived in uptown during law school and then said good-bye to them last year when we went to nyc.  Now, they are getting ready to go to nyc and do the same program that S. did at NYU--they're even going to be in living in the same building, the same floor and unit right next to ours.  We're kind of switching lives you could say, but I'm a little sad to say bye to them again., but we're going to enjoy the month or so that we have left with them.
• I hung up my new shower curtain and am on the hunt for yellow towels that actually match--it's a tricky orange-yellow color.  I did find some gray towels that match though, and I love how it looks.  I also hung up some black and white pics of nyc that finish off the space--see the pics below.  S. told me that the bathroom actually looks like the best room in the house--the rest of our house is just mismatched stuff we've had since we got married.
