My little boy turned one. I can't believe it has already been a year. We sang happy birthday to him as we went to get him up that morning, and he gave us a big smile and bounced up and down while standing up in his crib. Later, we celebrated by going to Coldstone to get his free birthday ice cream(coldstone will email you a coupon for free ice cream for your birthday and family members birthdays if you register on
their site, it's awesome, and we always go on our birthdays. I love ice cream--in case you didn't know!) Anyways, he had chocolate ice cream with oreos mixed in. His face just after his first bite was priceless(see below)--I think the cold kind of shocked him. He kept wanting more, but almost every time would make a funny face as it touched his tongue! Later that evening, he was being so silly. He was rolling around the floor with our throw pillows acting like he was wrestling with them. I couldn't help but laugh--maybe that's what he's like when he actually gets to eat sugar!!! Well, we are having a party for him on Saturday with family, so I will post more later!
Getting ready for that 1st bite
His 1st bite--gotta love that face
He decided he liked it, but wasn't sure about how cold it was!
I can't believe it's been a year already and I've only seen him once. :(
