N had his 12 month check-up yesterday. He weighs a solid 22 lbs (40th percentile) and is 39 3/4 inches long (50th percentile). We have had a few weight gain scares here and there, (between 4 and 6 months he only gained .8 ounces and dropped from the 40th percentile to the 7th percentile in weight) but I'm grateful he is now growing steadily. N had to get 3 shots, and a finger prick for a blood sample. This was by far the most upset N has ever been. He couldn't catch his breath and stop crying until we were almost home. I sat with him in the backseat to try to calm him down, but they only thing that finally did it was cheerios. Anyways, here's his little finger that they pricked...
