Yes, this guy still gets in the exersaucer--if I take a shower while he's awake, he loves to get in and watch a show!
P. played catcher at one of his tball games...
This is a first--we have gone to the arboretum for years, and they have free face painting on one day a week...my kids have never wanted to get theirs painted. In fact, there was a time when P. was afraid, like really afraid of his two friends who had there faces painted like a tiger. This time, he announced as we were leaving that he was going to get his face painted like a tiger, and he even planned his shirt to match. He loved it and was roaring all day. Him and his friend loved checking themselves out in the mirror...
E. loved the petting zoo...
I was getting ready one sunday, and I came out to N. teaching P. how to play chess...
E. was the first one to eat at my new kitchen table...although the chair he is sitting in has already been returned for some different ones...
E.'s 1st ER visit...we were walking in from picking up N. from school, when E. tripped in the garage, caught himself with his hands. I thought it was just a normal toddler fall, and I said, get up buddy. When he got up, there was blood everywhere. He was crying...I was freaking out--he sliced his hand between his ring and pinky finger. N. was a huge help and got me paper towels to try to stop the bleeding and hold around his hand. He tried to find the gauze and wraps, but couldn't, so instead, he was able to hold the paper towels around E.'s hand, while I ran to find them. I then wrapped his hand, yelled at the kids to grab shoes and get in the car, so we could head to the ER. On the way to the ER, E. is unwrapping his hand and somehow manages to get it all off, which N. and P. were freaking out about, but luckily it had stopped bleeding by then. So we get to the ER, and I finally get a good look at it, and it's pretty deep. They did xrays to make sure nothing was in it and to make sure no bones were fractured. They then put some topical numbing stuff and wrapped it to get ready for stitches. He hated the wrapping. Luckily, S. arrived about that time to help with the other boys who had truly been gems the whole time. I stayed with E. while they did 5 stitches--he was so mad, but then they said they needed to do one more stitch where it wasn't fully numb, so then he screamed even harder, but once they got him wrapped one final time and let him up from being held down, he calmed down pretty quick. I was really worried about him leaving the bandage on, but he didn't mess with it after that. Each night, when I had to clean it and rewrap it, he was super sad, but other than that, it didn't slow him down. He was a champ taking his antibiotics 3 times a day for 10 days as well. He got his stitches out after 2 weeks, but had become so use to the bandage, that he cried when he didn't have it on, and brought me the stuff to wrap it back up. I let him have it wrapped for a few days, but then finally got him off of it! He's tough stuff!

This big guy wanted a blazer to wear to church for when he turned 8, so this is a little early, but he was anxious to wear it. He's such a handsome little guy that is growing too fast!
