July in pics

It's always fun to go through my pics and see what all we've been up to in a month, and it makes it easier to journal especially when I have fallen behind on my blogging:) So here's July--short and sweet--I realized I didn't take very many pics in July, so I've tried to be better about it this month;)

P.'s darling smile and fav toy in his hand--loves markers...

 

Loves dishwasher--especially playing with the silverware

 Our new couch came--here they are stretched out on it the day it was delivered...

 One of the boys from church invited N. to his bday party at Sandy Lake--N. really enjoyed the rides...

 

P. however did not have so much fun--it was so hot, and he had to stay in his stroller, because most of the place was covered in gravel which he puts in his mouth...

 N. enjoying his first "rainbow" snow-cone--we discovered a tiny little drive-thru shack in Mesquite, and after we went and tried on new shoes(N. hates this, but did good), he was rewarded with a snow cone.  Unfortunately, we had to wait in a line of about 10 cars, and waited a good 40 minutes--I told N. that if P. got too fussy we would had to leave.  N. was a huge help by entertaining P. the whole time--I guess he really wanted that snow-cone!

 My sister came in town, and we went out to eat as a family--here's Gracie, McKenna, and N.  N. loves his cousins and aunt.

 P.'s goose-egg--he was very sad, but the bump went down fairly fast and he was fine soon after--just looked awful

 P. loves N.'s kitchen--especially loves standing on the oven door while he plays...

 Play-date at Oma's--building with Legos--I enjoyed a few hours of shopping without the maniacs:)

 Strawberry ice cream at Ham's Peach Orchards in Terrell--my mom and I enjoyed the peach ice cream:)

N-isms...
*We started doing a chore a day or so for N. in which he can earn a dime for his money jar, so he's been ona money kick and said this: "When I do chores I get money like when daddy goes to work and gets money.  When I get bigger I'll go to work like daddy and make lots of money.  Mom, when we go to Kenna's house, will I still get to do my chore. I told him we probably wouldn't have time, but he could do it another day...then he said maybe grandma has a chore for me to do, so I can get money".  He then told me when he gets big and goes to work like daddy, he'll make money and give it to me because I don't work and don't have money;)
*He's been on a no more babies kick--he told me the other day that he wants no more babies in the house, because they bug him and mess with his stuff.  Later on he said, he wants no more babies right now, but when he's a daddy he wants lots of babies!
