So after having the boys out late so many times during Christmas break and having many late-night meltdowns, we decided to bring the party to our house. S's parents, his brother-Boo, my parents, little sister, and S.'s brother and sister-in-law all came over. I cooked them my favorite chicken flautas (recipe courtesy of Cindy) and yummy warm chocolate pudding cakes. We ate, talked, played games, and toasted the New Year at 11pm with NYC. N. even stayed up really late and was quite punch-drunk with his Aunt McKenna. Then our guests left, and S. and I stayed up until the real new years.
