Christmas Festivities

Christmas Eve: Spent with my family--My sister, Kara, her hubby and 2 girls were here visiting, so it was so good to see her.  Her littlest one is 2 months younger than P. (I wish we would have taken a picture together, but we lost track of time and then my whole family got sick after Christmas with a stomach bug so we didn't see her before they left).  We spent the day talking, letting the kids play, eating pizza for lunch, skyping with my other sister, making Christmas cookies, eating Christmas Eve dinner, having our family Christmas program, reading our Christmas stocking notes, eating yummy pecan pie and peach cobbler, watching A Christmas Story, and finally getting to sleep so Santa could come.

Christmas Day: We woke the kids up a little after 7:30, so we could get the show on the road and make it to church, saw what Santa brought, opened presents (N. couldn't get enough this year--he kept wanting to open more and more), ate yummy cinnamon rolls for breakfast as well as leftover honey-baked ham, enjoyed a Christmas program at church, then headed over to S.'s family.  There we ate Christmas lunch, hung out with all of his brothers, made a gingerbread airplane, opened presents, ate lots of snack foods and pie, and N. finally got some time to play with some of his presents.  So lots of family, food, and fun!!!
